To maximize horsepower, it is critical that the camshafts are set to the correct position relative to the crankshaft position. Skunk2 camshaft sprockets allow serious tuners to optimize power and torque by adjusting cam timing and putting power where they need it most. Using the laser-etched timing and direction markings, precise camshaft adjustments can be made quickly and easily. Skunk2 camshaft sprockets feature CNC precision machined and hard anodized teeth to reduce premature wear; and our signature 6-bolt design eliminates any chance of gear slippage. Skunk2's lightweight designs reduce rotational inertia, resulting in improved engine response and acceleration. Skunk2 cam gears have been proven for over a decade on racing cars in the most extreme conditions
